The Florida Library Association has awarded two FLA awards to the Pasco County Library System.
Our director, Linda Allen, has been named the 2010 FLA Librarian of the Year in recognition of oustanding and ongoing contributions to Florida librarianship. The award focused on Linda's progressive philosophy, leadership and goals as well as support and appreciation of staff.
PCLS' website won the 2010 FLA Public Library Web Site Award for being the best public library website. The nomination focused on the good design and usability in web page development and recognized oustanding examples of effective library pages.
