Adaptive Toy Collection

PCLS has a a collection of toys available that help special needs children. Children learn through play and children with special needs may have difficulty interacting with mainstream toys. Because these toys are enhanced with lights, vibration, textures and sound, they provide added feedback to the child which encourages further exploration and provides motivation to play. These toys were generously donated by the Rotary Club of Keystone-Sunrise. Collections are housed at the Hudson Regional Library and the Land O' Lakes Library. The toys can be accessed through any of the seven county branches and are available to all patrons of the library.
