Census 2010! Stand Up and be Counted.

2010 is a census year here in the U.S. The count is very important for many reasons. Click here to find out why.

In March of 2010, census forms will be delivered to your residence. When you receive yours, just answer the 10 short questions and then mail the form back in the postage-paid envelope provided. If you don't mail the form back, you may receive a visit from a census taker, who will ask you the questions from the form.

So, please take a few minutes to make sure you are counted! By doing so, you are ensuring that Pasco County is accurately accounted for and is therefore afforded what her residents need.

If you really want to get involved with the census, they are still hiring for census takers. Locally, the U.S. Census Bureau is holding four local job fairs to recruit and train citizens for jobs in collecting data for the 2010 Census in Pasco County. All potential job seekers are asked to bring a passport or a driver's license and a Social Security card. Veterans are asked to bring a copy of their DD-214 form.
