Friends of the Library East Side Luncheon

PCLS just celebrated its first annual East Side Friends Luncheon at the Tampa Bay Golf & Country Club in San Antonio! The food was great and local Florida Scholar Betty Jean Steinshouer entranced her audience yet again, portraying Florida favorite Marjory Stoneman Douglas!


Here comes the new President of the Friends of the Pasco County Library System, Loraine Cors, checking in with Assistant Director, Stephen Kershner!



Libraries’ Director, Linda Allen thanks the crowd at the East Side Friend’s luncheon for joining us and supporting libraries.



The talented Betty Jean Steinshouer arrived in character as beloved Floridian and writer Marjory Stoneman Douglas.


Douglas’ passion was to raise awareness about the Florida’s Everglades and encourage people to contact their representatives and let them know how important the Everglades and libraries are to Florida.
